Hello, I've had a good hunt about the forum, but I can't find an answer to this one.

I've got a stuck odometer, and the bezels on all my dials are either a bit tatty or mismatched.

I'm waiting for Smiths to come back to me with a cost to replace the lot... which I fully expect to be eyewateringly expensive.

Does anyone do a set of budget dials? My car is never going to be a show winner so originality isn't an issue. The dash panel needs an update too. I was thinking a brushed stainless or ally panel, and black dials with simple white font would work.

many thanks

You could try one of the breakers for some 2nd hand ones or as I found it was almost the same to get a new one from Caerbont Automotive I was quoted £40 + post for a 2nd hand oil pressure gauge from a breakers and only paid £52 for a new one I think they're part of smiths now or own it so it may be who you already contacted. They also may have something here.

Try this place >> http://www.speedograph-richfield.com/ & http://www.speedograph-richfield.com/html/inst_rep...

They will certainly be able to fix your dodgy odometer and looking at their website can probably ref-furb your dial surrounds.

Fingers crossed for you

Nice one Mutley,

I did see these and thought it would be good to have all the dials match. Good feedback and positive comments about the quality.

But both the speedo and the tachometer are mechanical.!!!

You would also need to ensure that the Temperature , Fuel and Oil Pressure gauges are compatible with your senders.

Far safer to opt for Speedograph Richfield, a company that understands the technology, they could refurbish your instruments.

They do look good I'll admit, but possibly a bit 'retro' for a Chim and as Loubaruch pointed out, you may have compatibility with your current senders which lets be honest, dont interface that well with TVR instruments!
