We run a small festival every year in memory of a friend who died after contracting bacterial meningitis. We use the event to raise money for Meningitis UK.

Every year we produce T shirts which we sell at a small profit which goes into the overall donation.
People like t shirts, they are however a pain in the arse to manage.
I have looked at print on demand services like https://www.zazzle.co.uk/ but they are expensive and I'd like to keep the costs as low as possible.

I just wondered if anyone was in this space and could help, most years we sell about 50 t shirts.

Many thanks

D

How are they a pain?

You make an order - choose your product - upload your design - pay - job done. #simple

There are 100’s of pod co’s out there

They are a pain as I have to get everyones order, collect the cash and distribute the shirts. Clearly that is not the end of the world however if I could streamline the process and just send everyone a link so they can do it themselves then that will make my life easier and I suspect we'll sell more shirts.

Thanks

Yes I've been using them for tests (they are not brilliant quality), I asked if anyone on here was in this space, or had a contact.

Cheers

Thanks for letting me know their quality isn't so good ... was thinking of using them myself.

The shirts are fine, the print is not as smooth as some others we have used. Saying that however it does give it a slightly distressed look which I like.

Do you want me to email over some photos?

You could just print an iron on design there and then at the festival with an ink jet and just iron it on!

taking things slightly off topic here but....

I've got a few concert t-shirts which are now "well worn" (aka most normal people would throw them away) as they are impossible to get hold of anymore, 16 year old tee with concert dates and tour design, would these shops re-print the design onto a few tee (not multiples just an individual one)?

From what I can gather you can upload more or less any design.

Teespring.com - runs brilliantly from a Shopify site as well-meaning you don't need to manage anything.

Image quality from street shirts, these were £10 each.
I quite like the slightly distressed look.

I looked at tspring, they seemed expensive (£20+ for a shirt), maybe I picked the wrong options, I'll revisit.

Hi D

I am in the digital printing game, but as yet we don't do tshirts , however, I do have a few people we outsource to. I am happy to give them a call to see if they can do them for you. I am thinking with valentines day almost upon us they could be busy.

When do you need them for?

Di

Not until July, I'm trying to getting my planning in order.

Thanks
