Was It Worth Reporting?

I sent some dashcam footage of somebody speeding outside a school and going the wrong way around a pedestrian island in the face of an oncoming car to Herts Police using their form. If it was somewhere else I wouldn't have bothered, but there were pedestrians about and a school on either side of the road.

I doubt I will never know the outcome for GDRP reasons, it took a while to do and I am wondering if it is worth posting any other crap driving like this or not bothering. Anyone know Herts policy on dashcam footage?

Its your choice, my view is if they are relay taking the piss and like you say by a school then I would go for it.
In a lot of cases you will get info back from the police. There are quite a few youtube people who will post fines people have had.

There is a line some where between vigilant and helping the community just ask the joker :-)

If it results in a prosecution, then info is readily available within the public domain . Nothing subject to GDPR

I was kept informed as a victim for my dashcam footage but they did drive into my lane and brake checked me from a metre away on the motorway.

It did take a few months to hear anything, and when I emailed the court the day after the expected date they said they had no record of the case.

Police came back with result eventually

Being a petrolhead, i would usually avoid but doing this outside a school endangering others is shocking.

I seen a golf R today on the motorway blacked out, overtaking everyone, going through the hard shoulder at well over the speed limit hitting 100+ that disappeared into the distance, i wish i had a dashcam as if there was someone broken down they would of completely wiped them out or if they had a blowout etc.

Very unwarranted, whilst i don't have a dashcam i came close to calling 999 as the car's driving manner was if they were running for their life! Extremely dangerous and ban worthy.
