DB11 / New Vantage (Mercedes) Navigation - Traffic info??

Has anyone with the Merc infotainment system in the DB11 or new Vantage worked out if/how/when the traffic information is displayed? I realise it has old school TMC and that the routing is dynamic based on that, but there are hints of something a bit more modern (like the equivalent of BMWs RTTI) but I cannot work out how/when/under what circumstances it is displayed on the map?

Yesterday I suddenly had some red and yellow coloured dots appear alongside the roads that seemed to indicate traffic flow:



..but today nothing although every so often there are strange little road symbols with "5" next to them that could indicate delays:



I have fiddled with various settings but nothing seems to refer directly to realtime traffic info on the map.

Honestly the last gen Merc infotainment is not as bad as I was expecting but I was really hoping for some sort of traffic display... I drive in central London so am used to it being red all the time

Has anyone figured this out?

Lol I was expecting the worst, my wife hated her Merc infotainment system but then again she can't even use climate control. Women, know you place I haven't spent enough time in the car yet but like you I did notice what I thought was live traffic information on a couple journeys.
