It seems BMW have made the decision that all egr coolers that were previously declared okay are now going to be replaced.

Mine was declared fine about 6 months ago but my dealer sent an email today to say it needs to go in for 3 hours and I get 50 quid for lunch or 50 quid of bmw gifts.

Which model?

My 2012 E91 335d isn't affected according to the BMW site. Despite is being in the affected models years/engines on the very same site. :/

640D GC 2015 build.

I have some further information that this was launched on the 18th Jan and basically anyone that was checked last year could need a replacement one.
