Did I just see a military drone launch?

Went outside to get some wood from the shed an noticed what looked like a long string of lights in the sky. I thought they were stars at first all spaced out exactly the same distance. Then I noticed they were in fact moving quite fast and upwards and each one disappeared out of sight when it reached a certain height. I counted about 30. It looked just like a speeded up view from a distance of a heathrow runway, with plane after plane taking off.

Drone launch is about all I can think off. We live in the Chilterns and there is always a fair bit of MOD traffic around.

I think you can probably be reassured that you didn't just see 30 (UK) MOD drones being launched at one time.

If you’re near a firing range, could it be tracer rounds?

SpaceX Starlink satellite train

Just checked one of the prediction sites and it was the new batch launched on 7th Jan. Crossed right over us.
