RIP - Frontotemporal dementia. Urgh. Hadn’t realised he had another child in 2009, 10 year old Siri (named 2 years before Apple got there!).
Last few years must have been difficult.

Indeed, he disliked playing a woman but he ended up doing it rather than be awkward, and
he directed the Python films because none of the others could be bothered.

A very smart man, he did a TV series on the crusades, which was entertaining, especially when he
occasionally lapsed into Python silliness.

I had the pleasure of seeing him at one the MP reunion shows they did about 5 years ago. Quite brilliant.

Very sad for the family and friends and a loss to us all who enjoyed his amazing humour.

Apparently he stopped a stranger and told them his "Front temporal lobe has absconded !"

One of the funniest blokes in one of the funniest sketches.

Wobble your Charlies.

Preferred his understated humour to some of the 'shouty' pythons. Ripping Yarns was a classic.

I think this may have been my first intro to Terry Jones. Not sure when I became aware of Monty Python, but it was young.

I still have my copy.

Awful disease that also got my dad 7 years ago, ironically a Python fan who did a classic Ministry of Funny Walks impression. He was 66.

Picks is a terrible, I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

For his family it will be a day of sadness and probable relief. They can remember the good times.

RIP
