AM sportshift 2 regarding service
Discussion
I'm in the middle of serivcing my AM V8 S (2014) bought in the summer 2019.
I got to the transaxle. Been doing some reading on the subject before but now i'm left with some questions.
I don't have any filter, like the sportshift 1. But I think this has to do with that it is the "air-cooled" version.
Now the questions:
On the right side of the diff there is a level glass. It has to levels marked.
Low level is marked V8 and upper level is marked V12. The level was at the V8 marking and when I drained it I got only 2,9 L of oil.
Is this the volume that the transaxle holds?
What is the difference between the two levels? I'm thinking, does it hurt to have some more oil (V12 marking) when it is the V8 car?

The oil capacity/volume is 3.2 litres.
The difference between the two levels are the transmissions sits at a different angles to each other due to the engines, if you put the rear wheels on 50 mm blocks on the V12 the the oil level would then be inline with the V8 mark. Both have the same capacity just the engines make the difference.

Thanks for sorting this out!!
