Aston Martin V8 (V580) upgrades and engine/exhaust noises

This video caught my attention (20 sec in)

do all the X-Pack V8s sound like that? I had a look at some V8 saloons and they sound more discreet
I presume it is because of their exhaust setup? Or am I wrong?

I have to admit that I'm in love with this sound... how much does it cost to upgrade a standard V8 to X spec?

I had a quick search, but it seems that it is a well kept secret

I think its more the fact thats it says its a 6.3 ltr conversion than just because its an x-pack

That is not only a 6.3 but a 6 speed manual exhaust and Air intake. The air intake is 4" and the exhaust headers are 1 3/4" with the rest of the exhaust 2 3/4"

I watch this and the “power corrupts “ on constant rewind.

It had me enquiring the same.

I have an X pack with modified exhaust which does sound pretty awesome but not as awesome as this. I love the flames too. I think this lot will set you back 30k plus. But worth every penny

Easy to get the sound, remove intermediate and rear silencers, just keep the cruciform. It will be loud but growl like a tiger that's just had his nuts squished!
