Bring Back the Bush - Where Did Our Pubic Hair Go?

Monday 27th January 10.00pm.

Saw this advertised and thought it worthy of some discussion maybe?
Being a child of the '70s and exposed to 'hedge porn', I know which side my bread's buttered. smile

Has to be worth a watch, possibly?

Has anyone considered why we have so much flooding in the UK and elsewhere in the world?
All that hair once stored on the human body is blocking up drainage channels and sewers.

Oh God it's happening. I know a lass who may appear on this show. She's a club dancer in Newcastle and was talking about a show last year which she's auditioned for. I thought she was joking. Obviously, I'll need to watch every episode just to see if she's in it.

My main thought on seeing this advertised is I was watching some sort of parody advert from some up coming comedy show or something. I had the same feelings when I saw the advert for the masked singer bks.

But no this is actually reality now. We now live in a world where Alan Partridge stupid idea's for TV shows actually sound quite sensible.

Yep.

Nothing worse than ending up with a mouth full of pubic hair.

Indeed. hehe

Fast forwarding the adverts through Phil & Kirstie last night and caught a glimpse of this, I had to re-wind. Jaw-dropped! laugh

Eh? Thought this might be about the efforts to return life to the Aussie outback after the fires. Good job I didn't sit down to watch with my David Attenborough-loving elderly aunt.

Watch any football match or pop/rock band from the 70s and they were all like walking carpets.
I very much doubt humanity has evolved to be hairless below the neck in the last 50 years.
Will be an interesting watch probably similar to league of gentlemen nude.

That was a fashion thing, borne of the late-60's hippie movement whose unkempt look was a rejection of the well-groomed style of the military as the hippies were protesting against the Vietnam war.

Flares, perms, beards, sideburns - all an offshot of the hippie look. Glam-rock and disco adopted and adapted it.

Personally, I think the almost elimination of pubic lice is a good reason for us not to go back.

Well if you read it absolutely literally, of course there are worse things.

I was thinking of “a friend” who visited that “area” at the wrong time and panicked when he saw his face in the mirror the next morning.

In possibly related news, an interview with the Olympic conquering British cycling team revealed that the women’s contingent had complained of repeated bouts of thrush upsetting their training schedules.
Situation resolved by banning shaving. No resurgence of infection. So it has a function...
