AP Royal Oak 15450
Discussion
Am considering buying an AP 15450 (37mm Royal Oak). Have no previous history with AP.
In an ideal scenario I would prefer the blue face but appreciate they are boutique only.
Would anyone have any experience of dealing with London boutiques or any idea of possible wait time for a blue face (or even white) face?

I am not sure about that model number, but I called AP for a viewing a year or so ago. I was invited to a nondescript office building where an Eastern European girl in jeans and teeshirt greeted me and enquired, "so tell me about your relationship with AP". She showed me a black dial RO, I said I wanted a white one, she said she'd get one for me in "a few weeks". She said that was true of all but the blue ones.In an ideal scenario I would prefer the blue face but appreciate they are boutique only.

It was not the experience I was expecting and the watch didn't blow me away, honestly. So I didn't call her back and order one.

My cousin just got the call to pick up his blue 41mm. Took 4months wait. Zero prior history with AP.
It does make wonder just how long the Swiss can keep up this pretentious nonsense about building a relationship, just so that you can hand over silly money for their outdated unobtanium. It seems to be all they have left to live in their 19/20th century bubble.
It comes to something when Richemont buy back all their unsold stock rather than letting it go at what the market is willing to pay.
At the end of the day, if the item is hot and I mean by that you can flip for an easy profit, a few months wait is not really an issue.
Utimately, you have made a few £'s for zero work or money tied up. They didn't even ask for a deposit.
I think the harder thing to prove is that you are 'NOT' a flipper before you can get your hands on one.
I'm happy for my cousin, even though he bought it to wear, he's a couple of £k better off for buying the watch, if he decides to sell it at current prices.

From this mysterious office?I'd love to visit this office if it's in the UK. Never heard of it before
I don’t actually recall where it was now, but I do recall not finding it easily.
