Discovery 9pm Monday - Cerb. Billed as a new series so not the silver S-plate that's been on before hopefully.

There is a list on here:

https://tv.bt.com/tv/tv-from-bt/wheeler-dealers-dr...

Flipping cars at a profit to build up is something he did before in 'trading up' with the omission of travel costs, insurance, fuel etc contributing to the fantasy. frown

I liked the garage stuff with Ed and even Ant, but too much associated tosh IMHO.

TVR CERBERA V8 (£23,000)

Is that buy or sell price? This will be interesting to see what they get and do to it, what it needs...
Just need to find someone with Discovery...

Not sure they will do anything to the cerb. My read of that is they will tart up the Navara sell it on then buy and sell some other cars until they eventually buy a £23k Cerb. Do we have a schedule of when it’s on?

This is the same Cerb that was at the ace café towards the end of last year.

Mike Brewer Was there with a film crew. They picked that evening as it was a TVR and British sports car get together.

He was there in the same leather jacket and for a fleeting moment I thought I might ask to have my picture taken with him. Commonsense prevailed and I bought a cup of tea.

It looked a good car though.

So that was an hour of my life wasted. I wouldn't have been impressed if they presented me with that Cerb for 22K. White was okay but that awful green interior looked in poor condition and what looked like missing rear speaker grills. I'd have said, No thanks, can I have my money back !! (Although, I could never accept anything somebody else sourced for me)

Is the new owner on here? The program was OK portraying the Cerbera as a car in demand, a special car, but I was left with the thought that if the new owner couldn't afford to buy one, could he afford to maintain it? As a tv format it seemed weak, no real detail, but thats why Mike and Ed China separated because Mike wanted less technical stuff.

I cancelled the discovery free trial the next day. Asked for a reason I said the program was disappointing.

Is the new owner on here in the crappy reg plates thread?

Growler eh... rolleyes

Apart from that...does anyone know what the timeframe super Mike is doing all these deals in? Is it meant to be a month, a year? what?

Just wondering...everything always seems to be quick, nice and easy.. TV land I'm guessing.
