Up to £30k on a hybrid

I’m planning to chop in my car for another hybrid and I want some suggestions!


Requirements:

The main engine has to be petrol.
From 2016 (66)
Top spec only
a good sound system (eg harman/kardon)
heated windscreen
full leather interior of decent quality (no ARTICO or dakota leather!) or half alcantara.
parking sensors
Decent mpg. (So no 3.5 litre engines)
Will hold residuals well.
Large enough to seat 5. This is very ambiguous
Apple carplay (preferable)
Electric tailgate (preferable)
Digital dials and widescreen
Electric seats
Nothing terminally bork.
It can be dull as dishwater I’m not bothered because only for motorways and traffic, all that matters is COMFORT! I have enjoyable cars for other occassions.


So far I’ve thought of

Mini Countryman PHEV Exclusive brand new
Mercedes E350e
BMW 530e (Most are Dakota leather which is putting me off. Is it st?)
Lexus ES300h
BMW 330e new model (cant find many with decent spec)
Mercedes C Class
Audi A3 e-tron (extinct)
Volkswagen Passat GTE (looks very dull)
BMW X5 40e
Mercedes A250e brand new
Volvo S90/V90/XC60 very hard to find in price range because they are all T8
Lexus RX450h, nice but interior looks dated

Any further suggestions are welcome

What do you class as decent MPG my aunt who travel into (3.5 Q50h) Central London three times a week with is averaging a real world 33mpg as a direct comparison her friend has a 2017 IS300 F Sport & is getting a real 36mpg on a (one drive from Bellligham the other from Forest Hill) similar journey., so for me discounting the Lexus 450H & Infiniti Q50/70 seems like a big omission if you want a good hybrid.

As an example of this an ES300h has a combined consumption rating of 53mpg the GS450h is 46mpg & I know what one I'd rather be in, the Infiniti's are 46mpg, also if you want spec as well as a quality fit & finish then I'd be buying either a Lexus or Infiniti.

Having looked at the hybrid options for numerous customers & the plug in hybrids not getting close to the around town mileage claimed when you take in the extra expense of putting the charging point in plus the cost of specing a nice one a normal hybrid makes sense it's not like the phev;s aren't depreciating at a similar rate to their petrol equivalents once you factor in all the costs.

With comfort space & high spec being a priority these would be my picks:

Already have the IS300h and am happy so the ES seems like a step up? Only downside is its longer and more expensive and doesn’t have the sharp looks of the IS. But the IS is starting to feel very dated

Not a fan of the Infiniti. Looked at them before the Lexus

Like the C and E but they are both pre facelift. I haven’t spent this much on a car for 20 years which means I’d rather have the facelift - should I wait a bit? I used to only drive £500 sheds

How about a Toyota Camry? 30k will get you one with less than 1000 miles. It's the same as the ES but without the Cooled seats.

Hmm thats a shout but im worried about the depreciation so I might look at ones for less than 30k if they exist
