The movie reguarding stealing 40 porsches was a foreign movie dubbed into english about a architact who owned a targa top porsche. Great movie but can't remember the name of it. They took other car too. changed number plates got reg docs etc. I have seen the actors in other movies before and think it was an italian movie about 78 to early 80s. My brother had it on vhs tape not a copy. Am sure it could be found. Would make a good moden take on it. If remade. I would love to do it. Even using classic porsches. There was a farrari 308 in this too. I think jay leno may know the movie. Even mr Ruf as in Ruf porsches.
