I did read on an unconfirmed source that all four daughters were aboard. I hope it isn't true in that part.

Fell in love with basketball whilst living/working in LA in ‘98/99... watching Kobe and Shaq play was amazing!

One of the greatest ever to play the game.

Don't like the look of the terrain, the 76 usually has GPWS so hopefully not CFIT but looks like the crash site is directly on the side of a steep hill.

I’m a huge Kobe fan (I put him second to MJ). Very sad news.

I was driving through that area at 2am, the fog was EXTREMELY dense and you could just about see a car length ahead. I am at the same sport/country clubs as Kobe and he travels up and down the coast in his helicopter regularly as the traffic is often horrendous. Today really wasn't the day to fly, visibility was very low.
