Hi guys, I am in need of a DAC to use with my TV (fibre optic out) and Bang & Olufsen audio setup. Been looking at the Cambridge Audio Dacmagic 100, has anyone used this or could recommend one perhaps, thanks in advance

These https://www.ilounge.com/index.php/reviews/entry/fi... sound great and are incredible value too.

I have a couple running a pair of active subs in a system at home, they are very good. A lot of very complementary 5 star reviews here too https://www.amazon.co.uk/product-reviews/B009346RS...

What does the rest of your system consist of?

Amp, speakers etc...

The Cambridge DAC would be fine for TV sound in any case.

Thanks guys for the replies, bit of a nitemare really as I am running a pair of Bang and olufsen Beolab 5's, they should be blowing the windows out, but can't get a clean signal.
Tried running them as part of a 5.1 system, but struggled to get good sound. So I have a B & O Ouverture running them with an aux in. So I just need a clean signal from a DAC to connect to a pair of RCA's.

Thanks in advance.

The FiiO is priced like a toy but it is a good DAC...........full stop. Here is some feedback from the Hi-Fi fraternity rather than general Amazon comments. The D3 is well engineered, well made, well finished and sounds excellent. https://hifiwigwam.com/forum/topic/62677-fiio-d3-d...

sorry to thread hijack but wondering if a DAC would be of any use for me?

My PC sound setup is a pair of Q acoustics 3020 into a Lepy2020 amp to PC by 3.5mm jack.

Would adding something like the mentioned fiio D03K add any determinable sound quality difference?

If you have digital out then yes
If not try one of the usb DACs to plug into your pc

Anything is likely to be better than the line out on your sound card but this will ultimately depend on the quality of the sound card
