320d 2011 Manual 6-Speed Clutch Slipping
Discussion
Hi Guys....
I need some advice from your wise and learned selves...
My beloved 2011 BMW 320d Touring Sport Plus has over the last month began to slip out of second gear. I thought it was some lazy driving / clutch work from me but no it is getting much worse.
I am getting ready for MOT and everything else is all good.
My mechanic has suggested I source a used gearbox part and he will fit it for me.
I just wanted to ask your advice on these things as I not 'mechnanic' minded. I do trust my own guy but just wondered price wise what I should expect to source such a part at and if you could suggest any reputable companies to buy from?
Many thanks - all advice and suggestions are most welcome and appreciated.

So far, I have had only good experience with Quarry Motors. Best give them last 7 digits of your VIN to make sure you get the correct part.
They start at around £50 on ebay.
If you're not mechanically minded best ask your mechanic to source it for you?
