Need to replace the pump in my C1 and the locking ring is too tight to remove. I’ve tried a tool online and that wasn’t up to the job. I now plan a semi destructive removal of the ring but can’t find a replacement anywhere online. Anyone know of the part number or a source for these?
A rubber oil-filter-strap makes this a lot easier, or if the ring is patterned/textured/ribbed you might be able to gently knock it free with a bit of wood and a softly-softly approach with a hammer on the other end of the wood.
