So since my 545i decided to dump most of its oil on Saturday I ended up selling it for spares and am now car-less...

Looking for something a bit interesting with a limited budget of what I got for the BM...

So any body style but 4 seats needed. Commute is short so fuel economy isn’t an issue. No road tax of £570 though!

My pick is a CLK500 these are properly bulletproof unlike the BMW V8 but they do have twin spark plugs which isn't a cheao service & the gearbox needs a fluid & filter change every 40k.

Wow, that clk500 is a bit of a bargain! I thought all that generation of Merc were potentially flaky but that has sparked a renewed interest! The Lexi scare me a bit with potential electrical gremlins!

The flaky ones were the generation before which would be a brave choice but the W209 CLK's are very robust.
