Looking for an indoor grill; primarily for steaks, chicken and a little fish.

Quite like the look of the Philips here: click, though I prefer the price of the Power offering here: click. The Power model with fan looks a little more awkward to clean though.

Anyone have experience of either, or recommend anything else?
(I already have a 'proper' Weber for sunny days, when I can be arsed to fire it up.)

I would just buy a cast-iron ridged grill pan and use that. Turn up the kitchen extraction.

Yep, have a couple of Lodge CI pans and a Le Creuset ridged pan which I love, but the smell and smoke gets a bit much. It permeates everything, which is why I'm considering one of these grills.

Is there any way to relocate the Weber (assuming it's a gas grill) and have it just outside the back door. That way you can use it all year round - even when it's raining.

Can't help with your query, OP, but I keep thinking about one of these:

I can only imagine the smoke and smell it will produce, though...

^^ from what I've read and reviews the Foreman doesn't get hot enough to grill steaks properly. Thanks anyway.

If you haven't looked at your extraction for a while, I'd look at some of the new systems, They're bloody good. I'd spend money on extraction and continue to use cast iron griddle personally.
