Mercedes warranty costs

Hi all, I'm about to purchase a 66 amg gts and am looking at the various warranty options for it.
Are the oem warranty prices negotiable from dealers? The GTS is 2950 for a year or about 5k for 3 years. I'm just wandering if these prices are likely to be fixed.
Also, how good are they? Do they tend to cover pretty much anything or are they likely to try and wriggle out of any claim like a lot of the aftermarket ones?

My experience with an E class is that there is no wriggle room on the price, although you may be able to get the dealer to throw in more years at the time of purchase ( I think all used AMGs come with 2 years warranty).
As far as claiming I had a few issues which were sorted out without any worry over whether they were covered, the used warranty I had from the dealer seemed very comprehensive.

If the AMG extended warranty is like the Porsche one (is or was) they may also want to subject it to a pre-inspection and require any issues found to be fixed by an authorised AMG dealer.

Worth asking if they do the same.
