Anyone happen to know the valve stem length ? (V8V)

Usual Smartire system with the colour coded rings.

My stems are letting the side down, so I’d like to get them changed. Plenty of aftermarket ones available but would rather order the correct length first time.

Seems an expensive upgrade at £25 per wheel plus parts? Won't a toothbrush, elbow grease, plenty of water and mild abrasive help????

To answer your question, no idea as mine was ground to oblivion. Will advise when I get round to replacing the last three (life has got in the way since my last posting on the subject!) as hopefully these won't need such brutal treatment.

My local garage will fit them for a tenner or so towards the beer fund when it goes in for its MOT next week.

Saves buying a new tube of elbow grease.
