What sort of speed sensor / sender is this?

I’m sending my speedo off to Speedy Cables to be rebuilt so it doesn’t need a little battery for the digital odo (which has gone flat again so the odo resets constantly)

Speedy Cables need to know what sort of sender I have; it’s above the nose of the diff (1994 T5 pre-serp) but I can’t see any photos on here or elsewhere of one that looks the same?

I’ve poked my phone up the side of the diff to take a photo, removing it looks rather awkward! It’s caked in gunk but still works fine.

Thanks, I thought it looked different (like mine has a plastic cylinder on the top with two wires coming out rather than being threaded for most of its length), however perhaps mine is just too dirty to see - I’ll see if I can reach a hand up to it to clean it up a bit

I see what you mean, your sensor bracket is the same as mine but yes, a bit of a clean to see more clearly.
