Invited to test some porkers

The usual trip to the postbox to collect the day's quota of bills was enlivened yesterday by an invitation to go and eat their buffet and try out the new Porsche model range at an aerodrome near Fontainbleu next week. I rang the dealers up as requested and they asked what cars I was interested in trying - the 997S and the Boxster sprung to mind and have been duly booked for me.
Is this a free lunch? Are they really going to let me take their new cars for a gentle hammering, eat their grub, say thanks then bugger off? Seems hard to believe somehow, but I consider it my duty to go along and find out... :)

The Cayenne was also there to play with, but I think that it would be best thrashed (read tortured) on a nice loose surface. And no, you're right, they can't MAKE me sign can they?
I didn't let them into the secret that I'm just an air-cooled turbo fetishist with no intention of buying a brand new Porsche, but who won't turn down an opportunity to thrash a sportscar for free. Will take along the camera and report back on whether the day lives up to expectations.
A few years ago at the launch of the 996, which my cousin was looking to upgrade his 993, he was invited by Town and County, Aberdeen to a similar event and to bring a guest....moi!
Along we went to find the full range or Porsche, 1 x pro Porsche driver for demo's and a brand spanking new 996 C2.
I was invited to put my name on the sheet for a demo with the pro and then take the controls. (bearing in mind I was not a Porsche owner and did not pretend to be, I was invited all the same to drive).
The pro demo was awsome and we then swapped places where I was encouraged to really push my ability to the limits in the car. This was to show the type of control that can be safely achieved,
e.g Swerving violently around obstacles, which simulated a child running out onto the road.
A slalom course to demonstrate the handling.
Violent braking.
The couple of hours we spent there were terrific, no hard sell, just a safe environment for Porsche to demonstrate the limits that few, if any owners can experience on the road.
It must have worked for them because I pick up my 993 C4S tomorrow.
