After several years of being taken apart and sitting, my '68 Goat is nearing completion of its body off restoration. It's finally in the paint booth and yesterday I was there approving paint samples attempting to match its original Verduro Green lacquer. During the restoration, all rust was repaired to rockers, floorpans, frame was painted, disc brakes added all around, motor bored and rebuilt, new shocks and springs, 17" wheels and tires added. The car should be ready by early next month, and although I have several other wonderful automobiles like my Pantera and both of my XKRs, my favorite car of all time is the 1968 GTO, and I'm beyond excited to be able to cruise around in it soon. I'll have pictures when it comes out of paint, but here's one going in. Car was taken down to bare metal in preparation.
