Hi; need new battery on X1 (non stop start) is there an easy / Cheap way to register it. Halfords appear to do it but when I went in to the shop the ‘expert’ didn’t know what it was?

Yeah, just remembered my E61 had IBS and no stop/start.

Also had an AGM battery as well.

Maybe put your location and see if someone local can help you out?

Do you have a bluetooth/wifi obd2 dongle? If so, or if you want to get one they're pretty cheap, there's an app called bimmer tool which allows you to do the battery registration.
