Any PMR446 Walkie talkie recommendations?
Discussion
Looking for any up to date recommendations
We've had a pair of Binatone Action 950 two way walkie talkies which we use skiing, purchased for about £45, which have served us very well for approx 9 years, but one had now bitten the dust, and so looking for a replacement pair.
Budget for up to £120 ish , but don't want to overpay for a name. Must have 10k range. Waterproof would be ideal although our old Binatones don't claim to be.
I know that lots now use mobile phones for this, but we have them on the outside of our jackets and they are in use loads as we ski as part of a large group, so mobiles just don't cut it. There's also the risk of dropping phones from chairlifts etc
Like the look of these Dewalts...anyone used them? ...but welcome any ideas
