Hi!

I have some clear lenses here that I want to fit to my Chim.

I can find lots of posts relating to this, but no actual instructions.

Can anyone give me any pointers?

I think they're just held in by Silkaflex. I have a pair of clear ones too but in 2 minds as to swap or not.

It’s pretty straight forward.
You need to unscrew the bulb from the rear.
Once that is done ( this is how I did it)
I used a piece I’d 1” x 1” square timber and smashed the lens then with the timber in the centre of the indicator tapped with a hammer until it was free. Tidy up as necessary.
Silcoflex the new clear lenses in, and I wedged them in place with a piece of timber against the garage door overnight
.

I got these out yesterday.

I used a small heat gun to warm up whatever was holding them in which made it go soft. Then they just pushed out from the front. No damage to the light or the car.
