Currently having some packaging designed at the moment and the product will potentially end up also being sold in the EU. As we are going through the process, I have been told (by a less than reliable source) that we need to include a product description in the language of each country we intend to sell in. Considering the size of the box, thats simply not possible and would dramatically effect the design of the packaging.

Is there anyone in the know that can confirm. I have done some googling and haven't found anything online that confirms this.

Thanks

There should be no changes in place between now and 31 December 2020 (the Transition Phase). Basically, rules that applied before 1 February 2020 still apply until 31 December 2020.

The description of the contents is entered as part of the shipping and labelling process by whoever is sending and taking it.
Therefore it will appear on the shipping label if needed, it's nothing to do with the packaging.
You can send car parts in a Persil washing powder box, it'll still be car parts no matter what happens.

Like one of my workshop managers said back in the day "It might say OXO on the sides of busses, but it doesn't mean they sell it!"
