Apparently undercarriage damage on take-off leading to engine damage.

Currently circling Southeast of Madrid, now appears to heading even further Southeast

Apparently the airport was closed earlier today due to drone activity.

If they were fueled up for Toronto they might still have a few more circuits to do. I don't think the 767-300 type had fuel dump as standard.

No pressure, the eyes of the world are watching now.

The 767 cant dump all its fuel either, only the centre tank so might take a while to burn down fuel.

Weather is calm, no wind, virtually no cloud. Obviously its dark which is not ideal but other than that conditions look good.

The aircraft was in an accident a couple of years ago where it collided with a 737 at LAX.
It sustained some damage to the tail.

Knowing how st Barajas ATC are I bet that was a tough few hours for the crew. Hopefully ATC pulled it out the bag this time... Highest paid controllers in Europe to, apparently. banghead
