Looking for a friend:

Budget - £6-8k.
Driving - expected 2 years of Friday and Sunday commuting (about 280 miles) and then regular town driving after that with rare long commutes.
Age - 24, licence held a couple of years but zero no claims as this will be their first car. They expect their insurance to be high.
Must have (so they say!) - reverse camera, parking sensors, not too big.

My thoughts:

- Ford Focus 2015-2017? Honda Civic 2015-2017?

Should they go for the diesel? If so, it has to be Euro 6.
