Hi All,

Having sold my TVR at the weekend I'm now on the hunt for my first Aston Martin. I thought I was after one in a 'boring' colour but I'm strangely drawn to one at an AM dealer with caspian blue interior. I really quite like it. Normally I buy safe colours but I was wondering what are the general thoughts on Caspian Blue. Is it going to be difficult to sell on?

Thanks in advance?

Can you post a picture? If you like it who cares go for it.
Quite a few Aston have some sort of blue interiors, always look fine to me.

I couldn't live with it personally but like has been said, if you like it, why not.

My thoughts are someone ordered it so they liked it, you also like it so why not.

OK it might limit the sale market slightly as some people try and stay safe but again someone else might fall in love come sale time.

Personally see nothing wrong with it. It's the same argument about any exterior colour too, what suits some does not suit others. If you like it, then go for it. You are the one that will be driving it.

Yes, that’s the one. A bit overpriced but maybe they’ll take an offer

it looks ok to me and as said - if you like it buy it.

(I would be asking to get that air bubble in the leather dash in front of the passenger sorted though before I bought it (unless its an optical illusion on the photo)).

It looks nice. Not too garish.
I've got chancellor red, with even a bit on the steering wheel red too.
When I brought it home my pal was saying how nice it was but would prefer a black interior. That's fine of course as many on here like black too but in my opinion the red is what makes the car.
It's good to be different.

I personally like a blue interior, especially with contrasting stitching. For me it would be a bonus, even if I would know that it would probably be not the case for a future next owner.
But something else, if you look at the brake discs, has this one sat outside for a long time?
For a low mileage car the discs look horrible.

That is top top money for that car - you could get a similar car much much cheaper and if worried about it put the am warranty on .
The discs just look like the car has been washed , not driven very far afterwards so the discs haven't cleaned up .
The interior is a nice change to black , I like it

A rare exterior colour.
Grey on a cloudy day, silver in sunshine.

I had a Porsche 944 S2 with a slightly darker grey exterior but the interior was a similar shade of blue. It was a great combination which I liked more and more as time went by. I wouldn't hesitate to have a blue interior!

Thanks all. I’ll go and have a look at it. I am well aware it’s overpriced so we’ll see what they want to do.

My old V8VR had an interior in that colour.
I got a local trimmer to add some inserts in cream (same colour as headlining) to lighten it up a bit smile

Thanks all. Turns out it's sold. Back to Obsidian Black..!!

If anyone has a 2006/2007 coupe with newer seats, cruise, premium audio and folding mirrors they are thinking of selling, let me know.
