Really annoyed!! Leather is bubbling, like water beneath it.

2018 Vanquish S Ultimate.

Also the boot release button on the boot panel has stopped working.

Not been so keen on AM Chichester as still awaiting a warranty repair on the new Vantge, so considering AM Works instead.

Would like to think that any main dealer would get that authorised to be fixed under warranty.

Very confident that will be covered under warranty, if not a quick e-mail to Aston Martin customer services.

It should be covered under the initial 3 year factory warranty but will not be covered under extended warrany as its classed as trim, which is not covered. How do I know?

I'd be very surprised if that wasn't covered under warranty.......and if they say it isn't, then I'd be pushing a bit harder........

agreed, the non factory/extended warranty dont cover lots of trim/finish issues ....my used timeless car had wheel finish and door mirror paint bubble issues after just a few months (3.5 years old at the time), thankfully fixed via goodwill from supplying dealer

Think my car was about 6 years old when the leather gave up on both sides of the dash and around the speedo. Was quoted a four figure sum to sort but after a couple of e-mails with customer services it was done as goodwill.

if the car is under 3 years old (which, being a 2018 car it should be) it will be covered under the factory warranty. The "Timeless" warranty doesn't cover soft trim.

Definitely an item to get fixed before the factory warranty expires

Is the leather stuck down or stretched tight?

Mine (V12VS) is doing something similar along the top trim of the doors, like it's going a bit baggy. It's into Cambridge next week for that, some paint bubbles and dash rattles. Again.
