I have ( and wish to keep) the following set up

Phone will free calls
Broadband
TV with everything ( both BT and Sky sports)
Running on Virgin

It looks like this will be going up to a bum clenching 135 pm next month ( yea i know)

I am trying to get comparable costings from BT (left them 2yrs ago), Sky )(eft them 4yrs ago)

My lad has just come back from Hong Kong with a gizmo that seems to give them the same TV and it was a one off 90.00 or so
Haven't seen it working yet, so still to decide, but reading all the tales of woe and hoops that have to be jumped through get a reasonable monthly rent, i might be tempted

I don't mind playing one against the other, for a reduced ( phone and Broadband and whatevet TV this thing doesnt get) but the way the website are organised is not the easiest to negotiate

The apps you can get to view live sports, get thousand and films and series work but:
  • The suppliers are running an illegal operation.
  • You cannot (to my knowledge) record live TV
  • Service may disappear at any time.
If you want to take a chance some are a lot better than others

I recently changed after realising I was paying way over the odds, it is difficult to compare but once you say you are leaving your current provider they soon drop their prices. I ended up going with Vodafone for broadband and phone as it was far cheaper, customer service is supposed to be dire but thankfully I haven’t needed them. As soon as I said I was leaving Sky for tv they dropped their price so much it wasn’t worth changing so stuck with them.
