High milage golf TDI 2010

Hi looking for some advice
Looking to purchase a golf 1.6 tdi SE blue motion (2010)
Its an ex company car but has high milage 174k
I have taken it for a test drive and I cant notice any issues, apart from some vibration on the pedals while driving.
Body work is in very good condition, all electrics seem to work fine and its the upgraded model (se) with all the extras. It has some mixed service history with services on and off yearly with the last one being last year.
I am buying the car for the other half as a run around town.
They are asking 1.5k for it - is it worth it? or potential death trap?
