CCJ against my company - Set aside but any effects?
Discussion
Long story but we had a CCJ entered against my company that arose because our insurance company went bust and the legal firm that took over administering the account did not pay a claim.
The CCJ was legal but not properly entered against us rather than the insurance company and so afterwards it was agreed by both sides that the matter be set-aside and is now removed from the register.
My question is, will this have any longer term effects on the credit score of the company as even though it's now removed it was found in a credit search and so presumably will have affected Experian scores etc?

You need to check this carefully.
You can set aside and remove a judgment from the register if it's dealt with (i.e. paid) within 28 days of being entered. Outside of that time limit, it can be paid but will only show as satisfied and will still appear on the register.
The former should not show up on credit checks etc but the latter may still do.

Well it seems it can be done longer than 28 after as this was back in November and I have a copy of the set-aside judgement from the County Court stating that it is now totally removed from the record (Monday), was just wondering if outside agencies would still change their scores? You can set aside and remove a judgment from the register if it's dealt with (i.e. paid) within 28 days of being entered. These are the people who control the register.
I had a Judgment against someone. After 4 yrs they came into money and wanted it removed.
They paid me and I remember I contacted these people to notify them of payment.
Maybe contact them.

A CCJ after that time can be removed - but at the discretion of the court - giving your company the CCJ rather than the insurance company should be a valid reason for having it removed...
the website linked above (trustonline) is the portal to check whether CCJs are still there - it can take a few days to update...
