Fuel Injection Relay

My fuel injection relay (not the fuel pump relay) is playing up (only works if you give it a tap). I'll try and get a replacement from Ford, but as it is a 1985 part no. I am not optimistic.
Assuming Ford don't come up with the goods, is this a simple relay which could, with suitable wiring mods which retain the in-line diode, be replaced with a standard lighting relay from my local parts shop?

You maybe surprised but your local Ford dealer will probably be able to get one no problem...

I really should have more faith in Ford. Local dealer had one, 8 quid and back on the road, no problems.
