Ranger adblu fault

Ford Ranger 2016 3.2 manual.
Adblu fault message came up, followed by engine managment lights. Then went our for a day, then came on so
Had it to Ford to diagnose, they have said it needs 4no glow plugs at a cost of £500.00 I didnt know the two could be related. The glow plug light has not been on at all. Any have any clue??

Ensure that they will pay for the glow plugs when they change them, and find the fault still there.

Glow plug faults throw up an EML on our Fiat Ducato vans (had one last week). Don't have adblue so can't comment on that.
