Looks really nasty. The airline in question had an aircraft hanging off the side of a cliff not more than 2 years ago!

Apparently touch down point was in the last 1/3 of the runway with a tail wind. The end of the runway is a 200' cliff.

No serious injuries reported, according to sky news.
1 dead is pretty serious? And looking at those photos there's going to be many life changing injuries there

1 dead and 157 injured according to sky news now. I fly with pegasus frequently via Istanbul and this being the second issue in a short period time is unnerving me.

You know you had a rough landing when the cockpit is upside down and the rest of the aircraft the right way up..

Third if you count the overrun last month in Istanbul

Pegasus 3rd runway excursion in the last 2 years.

Rumours of landing with a massive tailwind when others before had gone around and possibly diverted.

Something chronically wrong with the mind set in this airline.

Not at all - the media are always quick to publish without fact-checking especially when it comes to aviation reporting (and not often a runway excursion is as bad as it is here (my airport usually has one or two each year during winter)).
