GT12 at Joe Macari

Saw that appear on AT yesterday.
I’d say it’s well priced, but not a complete steal.
Firstly, it’s not in the AM network, so it drops a little there.
There is a fantastic yellow one in the AM network for less than £20k more, albeit LHD.
In truth, they aren’t shifting at all quickly. In the past year I can only think of two public sale GT12’s that have shifted. Granted, there are only 100 of them, but a lot of specials including the 3 Spitfire editions are sticking like mud.
I think theirs is more realistic in price, but I’d still haggle. At their current rate of price dropping, it’ll be £250k end of the year IMHO.

is the market just not buying high end cars second hand at the moment or is this unique to AM? (Genuine question)
I ask as I was looking for a second hand mini (specific spec) for my daughter a month or so ago and there weren't that many around, and the clean ones were selling really quickly - different market I know but just interested.

It's a bit of a bloodbath out there at the moment Ollit, not just Aston Martins (but definitely including them, I heard of a Zagato Volante going for GBP400k). Ignore the advertised prices, which are often hopelessly optimistic. To get cars sold now often requires massive haircuts. McLarens I think are well known about. Dealers stuffed full of ageing stock. £60k off list for a 600LT or an amazingly cheap finance deal. But I've heard that many dealers are just refusing to buy cars back in (unless its a Part-ex).
Ferrari also struggling relative to where it would normally be. Massive savings vs list on the 4 seaters. And dealers resorting to "threats" to buyers who want to cancel their orders for 812s (either you take it sir or you won't be getting the 812GTS/TDF). So there's plenty of supply coming through as buyers dump nearly new cars back into the market.
Definitely a buyers market

Yeah it’s all a bit relative - natural demand for Ferrari is higher than for Aston Martins and Ferrari charge accordingly https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...
But equally I think we can all see that Ferrari is beginning to fall into the same hole as Aston and McLaren - launching too many models with too short a gap between them. Ferrari have just about got a away with it so far as they can force customers to buy the mainstream models in order to get on the list for Specials.
But my sense amongst my friends who are Ferrari-lovers is that even their patience is beginning to wear thin.
No matter what PH says, I think Ferrari do need their SUV too in order to protect them from a worsening market
