Following from my previous thread about mileage Got me Wondering if many are using their cars daily?
And how many miles you’ve managed to rack up?

There's a beautiful grey 991 GT3 near me which is often parked in the train station car park. I salute the owner, who also must have an earlier start than me!

I was ,I did 6k in the first year which included 3-4 months of either being away or recovery from arm surgery .
This last 8 months I have done 1.5k due to two shoulder surgeries and so many roads near me being dug up it got to the point I couldn’t take the car out without inflicting serious stone chip damage .
But my daily drive is a lot nicer than most peoples and I would take the long way round ,I wouldn’t have done anything like that living in a city.

I used my 991.1 GT3 daily.

991.2 GT3 'manuel' more hardcore and far more special so view it more of a weekend car.

I run my 991.2 manual CS daily. It is the softest GT3 I've ever driven - I've run a 997.1 comfort as a daily as well. Compliant suspension, heated buckets, nose lift to get over speed bumps, apple car play, reversing camera. It is a pussy cat to live with daily, especially if it's in a dark subtle colour. And they get better with miles, I'm on over 20k now and my car is 2 years old. I will run it till it hits 50K then sell it on.

Great post - brilliant to hear someone who is running some proper miles on to their GT3!

I've daily'd both a 997.2 GT3 and 991.1 GT3. Around 15,000 miles a year without a problem.

Same. They are softies.

Only issue if you are used to modern cars is no parking sensors. I had a rear camera retrofitted on the 991.

So anyone managed to get their 991 GT3 over 30K Miles yet? Interested in the effect on the cars value?

I'd say knock 10 to 15 % off what other cars are going for and you won't be far wrong.

I should of said that is what I expect a trade bid to be vs the retail price of a car with lesser miles.

For sure - typical trade will be to kick the seller in the gonads with a really low bid “miles are way too high sir” then try and retail it for just a little under the other low milers out there.

Personally I would happily purchase a high miler so long as it was discounted by a sensible amount. It’s finding the cars at the true value That’s difficult, a lot of owners putting miles on seem to hold onto the cars longer which is fair enough.

Didn't think that was possible to retro-fit?

Easily done for about £500 the last time i checked..You can fit either OEM type with wires or alternatively the wireless version which doesn't require any drilling or wires.
