Seems a sad story all round. He was allowed out unsupervised when he admitted he wanted to commit murder. Seems it's a tragic is a failure of our care system. WHat can be done here, spend more?

Jeez, he sounds pretty normal, imagined the bloke would have severe deficiencies.

Utterly callous individual - notice he didnt do this to a 6 foot scaffolder.
Hope he rots in jail

Problem is that everyone says things that could (with hindsight) be interpreted as warnings. For example, if I walk into my office with a flamethrower in a years time, and torch the first floor because it is full of annoying people who pissed me off yesterday, my colleagues will be about to say “OMG, rxe told me he’d do this”. For absolute clarity I have no intention of torching the office, and nor do I possess a flamethrower. How do you separate fact from fiction?

...did anyone see Ian Dale flounce out of GMB this morning during a discussion over this?

It happened so quickly I didn't even hear the words that triggered it

...one of my daughters is a supervisor in this field and has to risk assess people every day (for pretty crap pay) and people know what to say to get attention, plus some staff bring her everything to cover their arses.

An alleged recording of allegedly him telling alleged carers was on the news this morning.

Life without chance of release in the toughest prison in the land would be too good for this sicko. Someone of this mindset cannot be rehabilitated into a functioning and safe member of society.

Just have a read of the 'things that annoy you beyond reason' thread on here and take it out of context.

My son has twice told me he is suicidal. He has mental health issues which the doctor has told him are "severe". It doesn't mean he WILL kill himself.

With the right intervention and treatment he may well lead a full and relatively normal life.

People say stuff all the time.

On the one hand in the UK can get jailed for looking at websites or having material that is considered useful for terrorism. But on the other had you can be a proven terrorist with murderous tendencies and get out after serving 50% of term. Crazy
