Having just done my refresher exam in a diesel I wondered what differences there would be if the test was taken in an electric.

I mean in terms of driving technique, style etc.

Anyone with a 'real world' experience?

No real world experience myself but from knowing a few examiners in the past, I'd guess that they would love you to floor it from a standstill to experience the performance! biggrin

Very little. You may need to explain any battery saving driving style that may impinge against making adequate progress/driving without due consideration for other road users, although best to adopt a ‘normal’ driving style rather than coasting or dawdling.

The only significant difference is that there is no gear phase, because there is no transmission.

So it’s a four phase system. Information - position - speed - acceleration.

As long as there is acceleration driving will never be dull.

You had your seatbelt on, didn't drive like a dick and didn't say "man" after every 4 words...... Youtube algorithms won't trend your videos laugh
