I think us normal V6 owners can thank the Cups for dragging prices up nicely
Really is looking like £5,000 is where you need to start looking if you want a GTV V6 now
Yeah I think prices are starting to go up anyway, the car is beautiful to look at and has a great Busso engine.

The thing that stops prices climbing is the stigma attached to Alfa Romeo, Lotus ect that they are unreliable.

And also that it is FWD. That is a major hold back for this type of car. Had the GTV been RWD, there is no way it would cost less than something like a BMW Z3 or Z4 coupe today. The Cup would probably cost more than the BMWs. The thing that stops prices climbing is the stigma attached to Alfa Romeo, Lotus ect that they are unreliable.

I have a QUAIFE and GTA Fly Wheel ready to fit.

If it had been AWD or RWD that would be epic, however adding the addition of a QUAIFE differential and a GTA clutch and fly wheel and some suspension mods this can transform the car.

Sure there are ways to improve it. Still not as good as RWD though and still doesn't have the impact on prices that RWD would have. Actually several of the 90s and 2000's Alfa would have more value today had them been RWD. Such as the 164, 166, 156 etc. The only FWD cars should have been the hatches like 147, Mito, Giulietta etc.I have a QUAIFE and GTA Fly Wheel ready to fit.
Interesting points.
I had a Fiat Coupe 20V Turbo 1998 with around 340HP.
Now driving a BMW Z4M Coupe 2006 with the same power, 343HP (a lot less torque obviously).
Which car is more fun? Which is the best general car for anything, track, travels, practical?
Which one has The Bombproof Engine that would go on, tuned, for 200K miles?
Which one costs a fraction of the other?
The Fiat.
