It seems the report will be presented to the Sporting Council next week.
I guess it will not go into the use of tyres and conveyor belting at that corner. I still feel certain that the initial impact was survivable had energy been absorbed rather than stored in the tyres that catapulted him back onto the circuit.
In 2015, when Sainz hit the Tecpro barrier at Sotchi head on, it was recorded at 48G. The first stage of this incident was at 40deg and 37G.
But then hindsight is a wonderful thing.
