So, its nearly that time of the year again - in my opinion the best car event in the UK each year. If you haven't got your tickets remember you can only get in advance.

Many of you going? by the way how much do you reakon it would cost to buy a good condition 2.7 RS 911?

So glad it's Friday!!

I'll be there on the Sunday. Tickets have already arrived, can't wait.
We usually sit to the left of the Kinrara enclosure.

I've never been before but this year I'm going. I have only been able to get admission only tickets - will this limit me to what I will be able to see or do or do you just not get a seat somewhere?

Also, the website said that parking is on grass and there is no provision for low cars - will a 911 be OK to take or should I come in the G40?

Well looking forward to it!

The 911 should be fine.

The car parking is part of the build-up to the event - you'd be amazed at how many fantastic machines you'll see on the drive over and in the car park.

Got 2 tickets for Sat. Its far better to go for 'basic' tickets as you can then just walk around all day and not sit in some posh seat and not enjoy the petrol fumes

I go every year on the Saturday. It's the best car show by miles.Weather was a slight let-down last year so i'm hoping for some sunshine this time!

Theres a new rally stage on the hillside for this year. Walter Rohrl is driving a 911 on it

I'm taking the old man for his birthday. Should be good.

I noted the point about the car parking, but will take the 964. More worried about over heating on the way out than ground clearance.

Any highlights to look out for??

Cheers

Friday, Saturday & Sunday for me - do it every year with turboguru & love it.

Every year we drive down in different cars - this years we are going in 2 996 Turbo's - should be quite an interesting drive down there......

My dad is also exhibiting at the Cartier Style et Luxe event so will be spending some time there helping out.

My company supplies loads of signage for both FOS and Revival. Went there today and it staggers me how they co-ordinate everything. Did you know that more people visit FOS than the F1 GP at Silverstone!

We also take clients there and have hospitality by the start - loads of noise, food and wine, what a great day...can't wait!

let's hope the weather is good.

Yep the weather can kill it, last year was pretty good over the 3 days (slightly damp on Sat if I remember)
I remember going a couple of times when it has poured down....ruins the event.

Working all 3 days..... went last year..great apart from the weather. Highlight for me was the Ford Galaxy stuffing it into the straw bales on the way up the hill...superb!

last year myself, Roshambo, my Dad and his mate took part in the soap box race for PCGB the second year running but due to high winds a few stacked it badly so this year they are not running it.

Does anyone know if their is a Supercar line up again?
