Odd "empty" feeling along with shakiness and light headed...
Discussion
I've been getting this feeling randomly for quite some time now and I can't put my finger on it. It's like an empty feeling inside and I also get quite shaky with it and I also suffer from a strange light headed feeling when I get up quickly, to the point I feel like I could faint but never have, like a rush of blood to the head.
I was convinced back along I might be diabetic, I'm not massively over weight - around 12.5 stone (5ft 11). I got a glucose blood test kit and have tested myself on a few occasion when feeling like this and it shows within normal range.
Anyone else suffer from these symptoms and can offer advice?
The feeling is bad enough for me to avoid social situations such as eating out and even with family as I get paranoid with the shaking which makes it worse!
I do suffer from anxiety but I'm sure it's a physical thing not mental as it comes on at random times - it's almost like I need to eat something despite eating enough - maybe a vitamin deficiency but got no idea what - would they even be able to test for this with a blood test?
Thanks.

Sounds very similar to what I get sometimes. I did the same as you and went and had a diabetes test, which came back fine. Doctor no help, thyroid came back fine.
Would dehydration fit with your lifestyle? I ask because that's the only thing I can think of with me. But I can't say for definite that is the answer. Or maybe excessive caffeine? I drink a lot of tea.

Have a look at vitamin B12 deficiency, some similar symptoms
Thanks, will do.B12 deficiency does cause these symptoms. I have an injection monthly due to similar medical reasons plus a few more which really helps me. You can also buy b12 methylcobalamin spray on amazon. Not tried this myself but gets good reviews.

Thanks for the replies. Just had a meal and funny enough feeling much better now although not 100% - this rules out mental health?
It comes on out the blue within about 30mins although the dizzy spells when getting up quick never goes. Will get checked out for sure though.
Physical and mental health symptoms can be linked e.g. intestinal problems and anxiety/stress/depression.It comes on out the blue within about 30mins although the dizzy spells when getting up quick never goes. Will get checked out for sure though.

Excellent video! Thanks for sharing. I've got nearly half of those symptoms so I'll give B1 vitamin a try.No_Idea said:
