Big Jet TV is livestreaming from Heathrow this morning, some of the landings are interesting to say the least and there are quite a few go arounds. On Youtube or https://www.facebook.com/BigJetTV/videos/484422245...

That 747 Wuhan landing was interesting on the news, think they were putting it down whatever! Several Virgin jets have diverted from Manchester to...... Frankfurt!

Heathrow have just suspended landings on 27 left.

I sometimes watch Big Jets but I generally turn the sound down because the chap who does it has the most annoying commentary style. It's like listening to Del Boy. Raymond Baxter he ain't.

I agree. He’s providing some good coverage at the moment though.

There's a Dash 8 on the way, that could be a fun landing for the passengers.

I think he does a decent job only so much you can say again and again whilst standing in a force 8 on a Portakabin. But still a bit grating! Video footage great though.

As I said, turn the sound down. If you do that, it's fine. He does a great job from a technical point of view.

I don’t mind him too much, plus you miss the changing engine sounds (plus wind) with the volume off.

Weather gone awful visibility down and a 777 just went around before even getting near the runway. Days like this you realise why the crew is so well paid!

Just seen on the Telegraph feed that the sped records for subsonic Atlantic crossings are tumbling!

4h54 I think now but there are a few plans under the 5hr mark. An extra 2h30 if you are going the other way.
