Pistonheads search now google search?

Can anyone help me, I much prefer the search within the Pistonheads site which allows me to tick the boxes to where I want to search.
From 2 weeks ago, when I hit 'search' in my topic, it takes me to a google search?

I noticed that yesterday, if you do a search you only get this site results.

It's like doing a search using google with "site:www.pistonheads.com" at the end.

Personally, the old search I found annoying in constantly having to change its parameters to search to descending date order.
