Chevrolet Spark 2010 - High Mileage

Hello everyone.

In a couple of days, I intend to purchase a 2010 reg Chevrolet Spark as a cheap runaround for work and shopping etc.

My wife and I work about 5 miles from where we live and rarely do journies much longer than this in our free time.

The car we intend to purchase from the dealer has done just over 100,000 miles. It has full S/H and appears in good shape externally. The car has passed every MOT so far from what we can see and is very cheap to run and tax compared to our current car.

My question to the PistonHead community is, would you buy a Chevrolet to get to work and back or avoid? The dealer is asking £1600 which to be fair, seems fairly reasonable.

Generally bits of old vauxhalls so just for commuting why not?

Quite possibly but you can look forever for the perfect used car. This dealer is just up the road which is very convenient.
